The material is passable.
Comfort wise, unfortunately, it is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. This is a guest bed for me, but I have been using it whilst I wait for my bed to arrive. The uncomfortable part, is where the bed folds. No matter what way I try and sleep, I wake up in absolute agony (I’m a fit 35yr old, with no physical complaints)
The sofa bed is much more comfortable as a sofa. I will try a mattress topper, although I suspect with the level of discomfort, that the sofa bed would require an additional whole mattress, in order to supply any level of comfort.. luckily I have no guests planned in the near future…

The sofabed arrived constructed so only had to put legs on which was very easy, the fabric is lovely and it is a full size double bed when flat. HOWEVER, unless its against a wall the back doesn’t stay up and when laying on it there are the two metal cross bars of the frame at rib and hip areas with next to no padding in the middle section so its not comfy at all. Only way to sleep on it is to put at least a 3inch memory foam topper to reduce the pressure at those points.

This product looks amazing as a sofa it’s nice and firm . However the back does not stay up it needs to be against something.
I had guest over and in the morning they were in so much pain so I tried it out and they were not wrong! The wood or metal digs right in to your sides and hips. It’s as though there is no padding at all.
I ended up buying a blow up bed, it’s just not fit for purpose at all.
In fact it can cause injury to the ribs that’s how much it digs into your body.
Please don’t buy this product you will have regrets.
